     Duk wadan nan abubuwa da muka ambata ya tabbata daga bakin manzon Allah (saw) yadda ya ce:

"قال الله تعالى: كل عمل ابن آدم له إلا الصيام،فإنه لي وأنا أجزي به، والصيام جنة وإذا كان يوم صوم أحدكم، فلا يرفث ولا يصخب، فأن سابه أحد أو قاتله، فليقل: إني امرء صائم، والذي نفس محمد بيده لخلوف فم الصائم، أطيب عند الله من ريح المسك، للصائم فرحتان يفرحهما : إذا أفطر فرح، وإذا لقي ربه فرح بصومه"

Allah madaukakin Sarki ya ce: duk aikin da dan Adam zai yi na aikin (al-khairi) nashi ne, amma banda azumi don ita tawa ce, Ni ne kuma zan ba da ladanta, Azumi garkuwa ce, In har ran da dayanku yayi azumi bai yi wargi ba kuma bai yi shashanci ba ( bai yi Musu da jayayya ba) Idan wani ya zageshi ko ya nemi suyi fada sai ya ce : Ni ina azumi. Na rantse da wanda ran (Annabi) Muhammad yake hanunsa(Allah) iska marar dadin da yake fita daga bakin mai Azumi tafi kamshin al-Miski a wajen Allah,  Mai azumi yana da farin-cikin da zai yi guda biyu: lokacin da yayi bude baki zai yi farin ciki, Da lokacin da ya hadu da Ubangijinsa zai yi farin-ciki da Azumin da yayi

   Allah yasa da wan nan yar nasiha ta zamu amfana baki daya, Allah ya kara bamu ladansa Ameeeeeeeeeeeen

5.    *Kuma har yanzu, Azumi Tsaro ce ga barin shiga wuta, kamar yadda manzon Allah (saw) ya ce:*

*_" Azumi Garkuwa ce da kuma tsaro, tsaro ga barin shiga wuta"_*

6.      *Azumi kariya ce ga Sha'awa, manzon Allah Ya ce:*

*_"......و من لم يستطع فعليه بالصوم، فإنه له وجاء"_*

*_"(.... Wanda bai da ikon (yin aure) ya din ga yin azumi, sabo da (Azumi) zai zame masa garkuwa (ga barin Sha'awa)."_*

7.     *Idan mutum yayi azumi na kwana daya tsakaninsa da Allah, Allah yakan nisantashi da WUTA na tsawon shekaru saba'in 70years. Haka manzon Allah (saw) ya ce:*

*_"من صام يوما في سبيل الله بعد الله وجهه عن النار سبعين خريفا"_*

8. *Wanda yayi azumin kwana daya tsakani da Allah, Allah zai nisantashi da Wuta kamar yadda ya nisanta Sama da Kasa, in ji manzon Allah (saw):*

9. *Azumi Wasiyyar manzon Allah ce (saw).*

*Sahabin manzon Allah Abi Umamah ya zo wajen manzon Allah (saw) ya ce Ya manzon Allah, ka umarceni mana da wata aiki wacce Allah zai amfanar dani da ita, sai manzon Allah (saw) ya ce masa:*

*_"عليك بالصوم فإنه لا مثل له"_*

*_"Ka riki yin Azumi don babu abu kamarsa"_*

10. *Allah ya tanada wa masu azumi gida ta musamman a Al-Jannah, yana da kofa mai suna _RAYYAN_ hakan ya fito ne daga bakin manzon Allah (saw) ya ce:*

*_"إن في الجنة بابا يقال له :الريان، يدخل منه الصائمون يوم القيامة، لا يدخل منه غيرهم، فإذا دخل آخرهم أغلق فلم يدخل منه أحد"_*

*_"Lallai a Al-Jannah akwai wani kofa ana kiransa RAYYAN takofar yan' Al-Jannah masu azumi zasu shiga a ranar al-Qiyamah, ba mai shiga (ta kofar nan) in basu ba, idan na karshensu ya shiga sai a rufe ba wanda kuwa zai sake shiga(ta wannan Kofa na masu azumi) "_*

11. *_Azumi na daga abubuwa na farko da suke kai mutum Al-Jannah,*

      *Manzon Allah (saw)  wata rana ya tara Sahabbai yana Tambayarsu kamar haka:_*

*_" من أصبح اليوم منكم صائما؟"_*
*_"Waye daga cikinku yau ya wayi gari yana Azumi?"_*

*Sayyidina Abu-Bakr ya ce: "Ni ya manzon Allah (saw)"*

*_"فمن اتبع منكم اليومة جنازة"_*

*_"Waye daga cikinku kuma yau ya raka gawa har Makabarta? "_*

*Sayyidina Abu-Bakr ya ce: "Ni ya manzon Allah (saw)"*

*_" فمن أطعم منكم اليوم مسكينا؟"_*

*_"Waye daga cikinku yau ya ciyar da miskini(Talaka)?"_*

*Sayyidina Abu-Bakr ya ce: "Ni ya manzon Allah (saw)"*

*_"فمن عاد منكم اليوم مريضا؟"_*

*_"Waye daga cikinku ya gaishe da maras Lafiya a yau?"_*

*Sayyidina Abu-Bakr ya ce: "Ni ya manzon Allah (saw)"*

*A karshe sai manxon Allah ya ce:*

*_"ما جتمعن في امرئ إلا دخل الجنة"_*

*_"Ba wanda zai hada wadan nan siffofi face sai ya shiga Al-Jannah "_*

12. *Azumi na kankare zunubai baki daya na bawa,*

    *Manzon Allah (saw) ya ce :*

*_"فتنة الرجل في أهله، و ماله، و ولده، و جاره، تكفرها : الصلاة و الصوم والصدقة، والأمر، و النهي"_*

*_" Idan Allah ya jarrabi mutun akan Iyalansa, ko akan dukiyarsa, ko akan Yaransa, ko akan makobtansa, Abun da zai kankare masa zunubansa shi ne: Sallah, Azumi, Sadaka, yin umarni da kyakkyawan aiki da kuma hani kan munanan aiki"_*

    *Assalamu Alaikum, Yan'uwana musulmai lallai azumi na da falala da dama wadan da bazu kirgu ba, amma zamu kawo kadan daga ciki,*

1.    *_Azumi ce wacce Allah da kansa ya tanada mata Gafara da lada mai yawan gaske,_*

Allah (swt) ya ce :

Surah Al-Ahzab, Verse 35:
*_"إِنَّ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَالْمُسْلِمَاتِ وَالْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَالْقَانِتِينَ وَالْقَانِتَاتِ وَالصَّادِقِينَ وَالصَّادِقَاتِ وَالصَّابِرِينَ وَالصَّابِرَاتِ وَالْخَاشِعِينَ وَالْخَاشِعَاتِ وَالْمُتَصَدِّقِينَ وَالْمُتَصَدِّقَاتِ وَالصَّائِمِينَ وَالصَّائِمَاتِ وَالْحَافِظِينَ فُرُوجَهُمْ وَالْحَافِظَاتِ وَالذَّاكِرِينَ اللَّهَ كَثِيرًا وَالذَّاكِرَاتِ أَعَدَّ اللَّهُ لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةً وَأَجْرًا عَظِيمًا_*

*_"Surely the men who submit and the women who submit, and the believing men and the believing women, and the obeying men and the obeying women, and the truthful men and the truthful women, and the patient men and the patient women and the humble men and the humble women, and the almsgiving men and the almsgiving women, and the fasting men and the fasting women, and the men who guard their private parts and the women who guard, and the men who remember Allah much and the women who remember-- Allah has prepared for them forgiveness and a mighty reward._"*

*_A cikin wan nan Aya an ambaci siffofi na mutanen kirki har da Masu Azumi maza da mata_*

*a karshen Ayar Allah yace ya tanada musu Gafara da Lada mai yawa.*

2. *_Azumi al-khairi ne ga duk kan musulmai da sun san hakan._*

Allah da kansa yana cewa:

Surah Al-Baqara, Verse 184:

*_"أَيَّامًا مَّعْدُودَاتٍ فَمَن كَانَ مِنكُم مَّرِيضًا أَوْ عَلَىٰ سَفَرٍ فَعِدَّةٌ مِّنْ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ وَعَلَى الَّذِينَ يُطِيقُونَهُ فِدْيَةٌ طَعَامُ مِسْكِينٍ فَمَن تَطَوَّعَ خَيْرًا فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّهُ وَأَن تَصُومُوا خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ"_*

*_"For a certain number of days; but whoever among you is sick or on a journey, then (he shall fast) a (like) number of other days; and those who are not able to do it may effect a redemption by feeding a poor man; so whoever does good spontaneously it is better for him; and that you fast is better for you if you know."_*

     A wan nan Aya kuwa Allah ya ce

*"Da za kuyi azumi shi ne mafi al-khairi a gareku in da kun sani"*

3. *_Mutum yana samun Taqwa (tsoron Allah ) sanadiyar Azumi._*

Allah (swt) yana cewa:

Surah Al-Baqara, Verse 183:

*_"يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الصِّيَامُ كَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ"_*

*_"O you who believe! fasting is prescribed for you, as it was prescribed for those before you, so that you may guard (against evil)."_*

*_Allah ya gwada mana sanadiyar Azumi zamu iya samun Taqwa._*

*_A nan zan dakata, ina kuma rokon Allah ya amfanar dani da ku wan nan wata mai albarka ya kuma sa mu zama bayinsa na gari_*

Maturidiyyah and Ahlus-Sunnah

INTRODUCTION

Founder of Maturidism

The Maturidiyyah was a school established by Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Mahmood Abu Mansur al-Samarqandi al-Maturidi al-Hanafi (d. 333 H) of Maturid in Samarqand, Shaykh al-Islam; one of the two foremost imams of the mutakallimun of Ahl al-Sunnah, known in his time as Imam al-Huda (leader of guidance). He studied under Abu Nasr al-Ayadi and Abu Bakr Ahmad al-Jawzajani. Among his senior students were ‘Ali bin Sa’id Abu ‘l-Hasan al-Rustughfani, Abu Muhammad ‘Abd al-Karim bin Musa bin Isa al-Bazdawi, and Abu ‘l-Qasim Ishaq bin Muhammad Hakim al-Samarqandi.

Belief of Imam Maturidi

He earned a reputation as a skilled polemicist against the Mu’tazilah in Transoxania (ma wara al-Nahar ), while his contemporary Abu ‘l-Hasan al-Ash’ari was doing the same in Basra and Baghdad. He died in Samarqand, where he had lived most of his life. There is not much [doctrinal] difference between the Ash’ariyyah and Maturidiyyah, hence both groups are now called Ahl al-Sunnah wa ‘l-Jama’ah. Al-Maturidi surpasses Imam al-Tahawi as a transmitter and commentator of Imam Abu Hanifah’s legacy in kalam. Both al-Maturidi and al-Tahawi followed Abu Hanifah and his companions in the position that belief (al-iman ) consists of “conviction in the heart and affirmation by the tongue,” without adding, as do al-Malik, al-Shafi’i, Ahmad bin Hanbal and their schools, “practice with the limbs.” Most of the Hanafi School follows al-Maturidi in doctrine, but he evidently did not become as famous as al-Ash’ari. This was because al-Ash’ari engaged in numerous public debates and discussions to defeat the opponents of Ahl al-Sunnah and, thus, earned strong public as well as scholarly support and fame,while al-Maturidi, as Imam al-Kawthari said, “Lived in an environment in which innovators had no power.” Therefore, we find that al-Dhahabi’s biographical masterpiece, Siyar, does not contain an account of Imam Abu Mansur al-Maturidi. This is one indicator of how much more fame accrued to al-Ash’ari than al-Maturidi.

Literary Work of Imam Maturidi

Imam Maturidi produced some outstanding literary and scholarly works in which he promulgated and defended the beliefs of Ahl al-Sunnah. In his book Kitab al-Tawhid, he discussed the doctrines of Ahl al-Sunnah and supported orthodox beliefs concerning Allah’s attributes and powers, which were unquestioned from the time of the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and grant him peace). He wrote Kitab Radd Awa’il al-Adillah , to refute the book Awa’il al-Adillah of the Mu’tazilite al-Ka’bi. He also refuted Mu’tazilite doctrine in Kitab Bayan Awham al-Mu’tazilah . But his masterpiece is Kitab Ta’wilat al-Qur’an,
about which Shaykh ‘Abd al-Qadir al-Qurayshi wrote, “A unique book with which no book of the earlier authors on this subject can have any comparison.” Haji Khalifah cites it as Ta’wilat Ahl al-Sunnah and quotes al-Maturidi’s definition of the difference between “explanation” (tafsir ) and “interpretation” (ta’wil ).
The School of Imam Maturidi
The school established by Imam al-Maturidi generally relies on the Qur’an and the traditions of the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and grant him peace) with their orthodox explanation and makes no place for reasoning, philosophical or scientific inquisitions in interpreting them. They argue that since Muhammad, the Messenger, himself had not used reason in this respect, it is an innovation to do so, and every innovation is a heresy, according to a well-known prophetic saying. But in later periods, when new issues were raised which were not explicitly discussed in the Qur’an and the Prophetic traditions, they allowed rational solutions to these problems, provided the inspiration for such solutions is taken from the Qur’an and the traditions, and provided these solutions are in accord with those two sources. They did not allow any rational interpretation in any circumstances which would contradict the explicit dictum’s of the Qur’an.
The Maturidiyyah opposed the beliefs of the rationalist Mu’tazilites on the issue of “compulsion” and “free-will,” which the rationalists had raised and was already a key point of discussion when the Maturidiyyah came in existence. The Maturidiyyah supported the Ash’ariyyah and emphasised the absolute omnipotence of Allah while at the same time affirming a minimum degree of freedom for man to act so that he may be justly punished or rewarded. In the later stages of its development, however, the Maturidiyyah took an independent course and stated unequivocally that man has the utmost freedom to act, a point of view derived directly from many verses in the Qur’an and the hadith.

Summary and Conclusion

Maturidiyyah is a Sunni theological school named after its founder Abu Mansur al-Maturidi (d.944). In the Mamluk age the school came to be widely recognised as the second orthodox Sunni theological school beside Ash'ariyyah. Resident in Samarqand in Central Asia, al-Maturidi had little impact on mainstream Islamic intellectual life during his lifetime. Maturidiyyah only came to be important as a result of its acceptance by the Turkish tribes of Central Asia. The Maturidi school of theology gradually came to prevail among the Hanafite communities everywhere. Because the Turks were mostly Hanafite the Turkish expansion through the Ottoman empire enabled the Hanafite and Maturidite schools to spread throughout western Persia, Iraq, Anatolia, and Syria.
